Tijuana FC Joins the San Diego Premier League

SAN DIEGO, CA (August 21, 2024) – The San Diego Premier League announces Tijuana FC as its newest member.

Formed in 2018, Tijuana FC played previously in NISA Nation and enters the Southwest Premier League for the upcoming Fall Season.

“Tijuana FC has proven that it provides opportunities for players at international clubs," San Diego Premier League Director Diego Martins said. "The addition of Tijuana FC makes the San Diego Premier League a bi-national league and will give our team a new experience, playing international matches in a regional setting."

Tijuana FC has sent players to Alcorcon, Legares and Real Vallecano in Spain. The team will begin play in the San Diego Premier League the weekend of Sept. 7-8.
