Rayados San Diego Joins the SWPL

CHULA VISTA, CA (February 13, 2024) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) announces Rayados San Diego as its newest member.

Formed in 2023, Rayados San Diego joins San Diego Premier League as a founding member for the 2024 season.

"We are excited to welcome Rayados San Diego and the Rayados club to the Southwest Premier," San Diego Premier League President Diego Martins said. “Rayados has entered the San Diego marketplace and is already showing signs that it is a serious contender. We expect the club to be very competitive and provide serious opportunities for players."

The club's 2008 boys team won the 2023 SDRA State Cup. There will be tryouts for this U23 team on Feb. 18. 

San Diego Premier League is slated to begin in late March. The match schedule will be released soon.
